Pale lilac-toned flowers of late winter, early spring. A longtime favorite of bulb-fanciers, Giant Crocus Vanguard’s distinctive flower goblets are comprised of gray outer petals and purple inner petals. Consider planting them alongside hellebores and galanthus in wooded areas, or situate them under shrubs and in the garden border for early spring color. Early-blooming crocuses are easy to plant, and, once established, are all but carefree. Like clockwork, they return each spring, in ever-increasing numbers.
