Tulip Colorado Proud is part of the Triumph series, bred for strong stems and large flowers. They grow to about 50cm (20") tall so they are perfect for cut flowers. Try them in patio containers for blooms in April and May. The very name Tulip is magic, for everyone knows this fine genus. We call these flowers the "lipsticks of the garden" because they provide a finishing touch that brings spring borders to life. Plant Tulips in well-drained, good garden soil. Full sun is recommended (at least six hours or more).
