A fabulous anemone with deep red petals and a purple heart. Bourdeaux's blossoms are beautifully shaped and flutter like poppies in the wind. Finely-cut foliage complements the blooms, then dies back during summer while the plants are dormant. The flowers last for up to two weeks in a vase. In zones 7-10 anemones may be planted in fall for spring flowers. In colder zones they can be planted in spring for late summer flowers
